It is the thrill of the hunt that sometimes entices men to go about the ritual of courtship but in that very hunt, the process of landing on your feet in the process is not always a given.

What do I mean by that?

Simply put, somewhere along the way some men seem to lose their ability to be creative and think on their feet in the name of love or maybe they never had it.

I have spent many a session with some men teaching them to release their creative muse, as I like to call it, in the expression of their heart to their partner. That is why the greeting card industry is indeed a billion dollar industry as there are so many who can’t seem to think on their feet and just create from their heart.

It is nothing to agonize over if you face the reality of the situation but there must come a point that you do face it. It all starts with a self-assessment of how you interact with your partner and, as I have said before, it is not always about sex or getting someone to that point.

It is more about truth in the realization that you are capable of releasing your heart and that once you let go of the thought that you may mess up in your communication, you will finally notice the thrill of victory.

I understand the transition that must take place and I know it is not an overnight transition, although it is fully capable of happening if you would really desire it to be.

I always liken the feeling of when you were a kid, or at least it was with me, and you planned that first contact with someone you thought cute or whatever the terminology is. I would plan and plan and then practice in the phone before actually making a call.

I know, what a dork, but, trust me; I was not unlike all others I associated with. I even helped many of my friends with their first encounters. I guess I had it in me at an early age.

No matter what the way you plan even when you are older, the idea is that it is never a “One-shot” deal as it should be a way of life.
