Every year when it is back to school time in America, we are deluged with all kinds of commercials heralding in the fact that kids are to report back to schools.

One such commercial that intrigues me is the talking frosted mini wheat guys, and I guess girls, who talk about the importance of a good breakfast to help them concentrate and everything…blah, blah, blah.

Face it, there are all of these studies that say breakfast is an important meal and that skipping it is bad and everyone who does is doomed to eternity in the lake of fire.

What…to strong?

I suppose, but the point is that you are suppose to kick-start your day with nutrition and all that good stuff.

You know, with love, it seems it is just the opposite. Mostly love is talked about in the realm of an evening experience as that is when I guess we are suppose to have sex and everything.

But does that really make sense? Does it makes sense to completely be devoid of love emotions until the evening, I mean, honest, passionate love feelings.

I don’t believe so and I will be posting about the morning experience and why it is vital to establish a daily love routine that begins when your eyes open in the morning.

I will share the vital steps to ensure that evening love is not just a beginning, but a continuation of all things positive in the arena of love.

Love Writings: What Would You Do For Love?

I am a huge Sci-fi fan and will pretty much watch any sci-fi episode or movie on TV and in the Theaters. Sci-fi is, and always has been, written as a vessel to discuss life in a way that addresses the human condition.

One of my favorites is Stargate SG1 about a team of explorers who go through a gate that connects to different worlds. A recent episode had the SG1 team caught in a time loop with only two of the team members able to remember that they were in the time loop at all.

The essence of the episode was that the SG1 team had traveled to a world where they found a man who was working on a machine. Little did the team know, the machine was a time machine that trapped the team in a time loop when the man did something to the machine’s controls as they approached. The man was simply trying to change time to go back to be with his dying wife.

The episode started me thinking about what would most of us do for our partner in love. While that seems like a pretty basic question as most would say something like, “I’d do anything for my partner.”

Really? Would you?

Think about it. What stirs your heart towards your partner on more than a physical reaction to someone else looking at your partner with lust. What really moves your heart and would stir you to do something that would probably surprise even you?

The reason you must ask is that, I believe, deep, soulful love is richer than most can really ever really fathom. The bible says this quite clearly when it says in John 15, “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

Of course, that includes your lover who, which I pray, is your best friend.

If there is a nagging feeling that you could never truly commit yourself to such a soulful existence in love with that person, then self-reflection is at hand.

But here is the flip-side of that coin; You, essentially, know that you know that you know. When love truly permeates your soul for the one you are destined to be with, the answer is quite academic. It is as if the question never really has to be asked at all.

So, you see, it was a trick question in the first place; If you have to ask, you probably already have your answer.

Life is funny that way, but love is always the greatest reward.
