Loving Love Inspires the Heart to Create Words that Gives Love its Life.

Have you ever wondered why we get so squeamish about all of this talk of feelings in our lives? Have you ever wondered how it is that we learn to bottle them up in so many ways or parcel them out like we are surviving some sort of catastrophe?

Yes, but and large, Men get to have the dubious honor of living in that way due to the very nature of being men, but women seem to be creeping up on that threshold with increasing rapidity.

The other day, I caught the replay of the movie, “The 40-Year Old Virgin” on TV and there is a part in the movie where Steve Carell’s character, who is the 40-year old virgin, was playing cards with his three other co-workers and they were talking about women and relationships. Most of the talk was what you have always believed was “Guy-Talk” in that it was mostly crude, but there was a point where Paul Rudd’s character went off on how to love a woman tenderly and was being very flowery in his speech. Well, this caused the other characters, played by Seth Rogan and Romany Malco to respond in such a way as to make him stop. They didn’t want to hear emotions that were tenderhearted. It was funny because all men who see it, have to have a general laugh at themselves as humor always has an element of truth in it.

In a way, when men laugh at that scene, they are acknowledging that sometimes, we do indeed throw away our ability to be a real sensing and feeling individual for the cavemen antics of being tough and gruff men.

I can tell you men, that being a tough man with a sensual aura, and I am talking sincere sensuality here, will turn a woman’s head far more than being a caveman.

Oh, it is indeed true that many a woman wants a “Bad Boy” but, in the end, the “Bad Boy” persona gets extremely tiring and the woman realizes that her soul yearns for that touch of a true heart-to-heart interaction.

Learning to express yourself is a mission we should all be on, for in the end, home is where the heart is. Your feelings are so important to share with the one you are meant to share with, and that is a distinction that will be discussed in another post.

I am of the mindset that a true heart-to-heart interaction will never have fear attached to it and there is complete trust in that interaction to feel safe. That, however, is an affair of the heart and can never be told to you when to feel it by anyone. You just know.

The secret to really expressing your feelings is to fully express you feelings.

“What?” you are saying.

Yes, I talk of ways to start a routine of love and the steps you can take to begin a process of beginning a routine through love notes and love words, but, in the end, you just have to fully express yourself. Start by doing so with you. Be honest with yourself as to what have become the barriers for you to do so and go from there.

Love your neighbor as thyself means exactly that. You can’t begin the process of truly expressing feelings towards others if you don’t do so with yourself first. Start the journey this moment and the next moment will be so much better.
